Thecourse combines formal talks, role plays, texts of underpinning theories andwritten assignments to give you a great foundation in family mediation.
All the materials were very useful and informative. It shows how much time, effort and care has been put into developing this course. You can really tell how much the trainers care about training us to be good family mediators and the importance of this. They were very friendly and made us feel at ease especially when I was nervous.
The trainers modelled neutrality without coldness (but an element of firmness!), structure without rigidity, and compassion without therapeutic drift. They carried the balance that I aspire to grow into.
The role plays helped me build confidence, test different interventions, and understand how theory translates into practice.
